Beginning Beadmaking Classes

No previous hot glass experience is required.
Class size is limited to six students, so each will receive lots of individual attention. 

  Glasscraft has a beautiful, state of the art teaching facility!       

In class, we will cover studio safety, stringers, twisted cane, surface decoration, annealing and glass compatibility.  A handout will be provided in the beginning class. 

Cost is  $199  for the 4-hour class and includes:

All glass for the day (we will use soft glass, COE104)                                                       
            Use of torch (propane/oxygen), tools  &  equipment needed
   

You may return the following day to pick up your annealed beads.  You should make about 10-15 beads for use in your favorite jewelry designs!

The 2nd Step Beadmaking Class

In this class, we will review the basics covered in the beginning class.  In addition, we will cover clear-casing and work with a little dichroic glass.  There will also be ample time to work on individual problem solving.  Feel free to bring beads that have problems you would like to work on.  Beadmakers who have previous experience on a propane-oxygen torch are welcomed in this class.......you need not have taken the beginning class at Glasscraft.

Classes run from 9 am-4:30 pm

Cost is  $250  for the one-day class and includes:
